    With…..boot camp fitness class!

     Seriously though.

I went to a free boot camp demo on Saturday morning at my health club, and it was basically one of the best classes I’ve taken.  There was so much variety in the exercises, and instead of using one the traditional fitness classes, we used the indoor basketball court which has much more room. I think one of the main reasons why prefer the boot camp class is because it most resembles the type of exercises I participated in when I played lacrosse and various other sports.

We started with a dynamic stretching across the gym which eventually led into sprints. After, the three instructors split us into groups and placed us into different stations.  One station, we had to squat down and flip over a huge tire that came up to about my waist. Once again, I don’t think I realize how strong I am because I didn’t have any difficulties with the task which was surprising.

Only problem is that it costs $166 per month,  on top of my membership. Hopefully my parents will be willing to pay for it, because my part time job working 15 hours a week will not cover it. ha.

I’m a Fan of Morning Workouts.

My gym is offering a free demo on a boot camp class tomorrow morning, which I’m very excited about. I just hope my muscles can sustain and don’t die in the middle of the workout. I did two fitness classes today, Fitness Interval Training and Strictly Strength. I also did ten minutes of jump roping after, and for some reason my shins were burning. It felt like I had shin splits, which is kind of odd since I have not done any long running in quite awhile.

I was suppose to go to a 5 am class this morning, but I went to bed too late to get up on time. It’s going to be one of my goal to attend it next week. I’ve gone before with my mom, and it’s consistently a great workout. The instructor always switches up the workout, and sometimes they even get to play team sports like basketball or soccer on the gym scooters. Plus, everyone is friends with each other and constantly rooting each other on.
